Social Studies/Estudios Sociales

Social studies give the students the opportunity to learn about them, families, communities, and of course our country.  This is where your child explores all about themselves and others.  They learn about different cultures, customs, and traditions.  They also learn  about holidays and celebrations. 

Topics:  me, family, America and its symbols, communities, maps and globes, cultures, customs, traditions, celebrations, holidays, sequence of events, the presidents, location, Texas, and  positional words

En Estudios sociales sus niños tienen la oportunidad de aprender sobre ellos mismos, las familias, comunidades and por supuesto nuestro país.  Este es cuando su niño explora y aprende sobre ellos mismos y otros.  Ellos aprenden sobre otras culturas, costumbres y tradiciones.  También aprenden sobre días festivos y celebraciones.

Otros temas que aprenden: Yo, la familia, América y sus símbolos, comunidades, mapas y el globo Terráqueo, cultura, costumbres, tradiciones, celebraciones, días festivos, orden de eventos, los presidentes, locación, Texas, y palabras de posición.
